NEW - Launching Soon Companion Care Plan

Frequently Asked Questions..?

We understand that the cost of routine veterinary care can be worrying. Our Companion Care Plan has been designed to help keep your dog or cat healthy and you happy by spreading the annual cost.

Please have a look through our FAQs below.  If you've any other questions, please contact us.

When is the plan starting?

We're waiting for one computer system to speak to the other computer system, so it should be available certainly by the beginning of March, but maybe slightly sooner - fingers crossed!

Is the Companion Care Plan pet insurance?

Our Companion Care Plans covers preventative treatments and services ONLY. It is not pet insurance and will not cover treatment for unforeseen accidents and/or illnesses. To cover these unforeseen accidents and illness, we still recommend you take out pet insurance.

Can I get a plan for my puppy or kitten?

Yes, the plan is available for dogs, cats, puppies and kittens of all ages.  Puppies & kittens  have their initial vaccinations included in the plan.  They also benefit from one FREE bag of petfood after joining.  Make you ask for your petfood loyalty card to earn more free bags!

Does the Companion Care Plan cover rabbits and guinea pigs?

At present our plans only cover dogs and cats, but in future we hope to expand it to cover our smaller furries too.

Will I really save money?

Yes! Joining our Companion Care Plan can save you hundreds of pounds every year.  Savings are based on the cost of purchasing these benefits separately and vary depending on the breed and size of your pet.

Does the plan cover me for multiple pets?

Membership of our Companion Care Plans are for one pet.  You will need to sign up each of your pets separately if you wish to cover more than one.

Can I cancel my plan and will there be a cancellation fee?

Yes, you can cancel your membership at any time, but if you cancel part way through the plan year, we’ll calculate the total payments you have made and the cost of the treatment received.  If there’s a shortfall, you’ll need to pay the difference.

Can I collect my flea, tick & worm treatment rather than have it posted?

Yes, you’re more than welcome to collect your treatments from the practice if it’s more convenient.  The cost of delivery to your door is included in the plan.
